DISNEY JR.: ARIEL’S SEASIDE CELEBRATION

Pop’N brought Disney Jr.’s new series Ariel to life with a 3-day immersive kiddie carnival. Drawing on the show’s Afro-Caribbean influences, music, and magic, we created interactive, character-inspired touchpoints that translated key themes into physical activations—driving awareness, viewership, and unforgettable family experiences.

We transformed Battery Park into Atlantica, where kids became merlings for a day across five vibrant show-inspired environments. Centered on an 18' x 20' Atlantica Stage, the experience featured Caribbean dance parties, Carnival performances with USVI dancers and steel pannists, and Ariel’s first live appearance outside Disney Parks.

Highlights included bubble art at Tanti Ursula’s Apothecary, mer-ling makeovers, Flounder’s shipwreck obstacle course, and Ariel’s Palace Play area with upcoming toys—all designed for sensory and ADA-inclusive fun.

Word of Ariel swimming into town made waves fast! The celebration generated 6.27M impressions and 94K estimated press views across top outlets like ABC7 and ABC30. Over 3,000 guests joined Ariel’s Seaside Celebration, alongside 142 influencers—including series leads Mykal-Michelle (Ariel) and Taye Diggs (King Triton).
